Virtual Villages, An Addicting Video Game

<!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } -->

Virtual Villagers is a 'Surivor' like game where the villagers are stuck on an island. The game runs in real time so even when you aren't directly involved as a player in telling the villagers what to do, breed or harvest their crops, the game is still running. This game is quite addicting and can be paused by using the options menu, just in case you happen to go out of town or happen to be busy for a few days.

The first few hours are critical:

Playing the first two hours of the game is quite critical in determining your end success in keeping the villagers alive and successfully playing the game. You probably won't want to leave your computer as you are required to do get the virtual villagers doing their part in foraging fruit and doing so as to keep the villagers alive and with food to eat.

Your virtual community not only requires food to live, but villagers who do their research will be able to earn technology points that will be used in such areas as fertility, farming, medicine e.t.c. This will help their make their lives more productive and easier. It doesn't take a whole lot of time to research and upgrade their technology within the vitual village.

Assign Specific Tasks

Another important task required to succeed is breeding. As a player, you get to decide when the villagers breed by dropping a male or female over the oposite sex. The male and female can then decide to hug and then go indoors. At times there's a baby, but othertimes not. Just assigne one of the villagers the task of being the breeder, leave the game to its own destiny and just overnight, you might have a population explosion.

Villagers in this game will be involved in jobs such as, healing, building, breeding and farming. They don't just work throughout, but they also spend a lot of time doing basic things such as doing laundry and cleaning their houses. When you are just starting out in the game, you need to put pressure on the villagers to do more than just housework in order to advance with the game.

What's the point of this game ?

You will need to accomplish tasks such as collecting food, researching to earn new technologies and breeding in order to solve the mysteries sorrounding the island. There will be 16 puzzles that you will be required to solve. Some puzzles may be easy to solve, but others will need the villagers research and building in order to be solved. Other puzzles will need you to take immediate action, but other puzzles will require taking the villagers around the island to see the end results.

After you reach maximum population capacity, the villagers can take better care of themselves. There might be disasters that could end up destroying the food, but if your 'virtual villagers' knows how to fish....Alright that's it I can't give away eveything, you just have to play this addicting game for yourself!
